2nd Annual Swap Meet
About the Cause
This year’s Swap Meet is dedicated to supporting a local 8-year-old boy who is bravely fighting an aggressive spinal cord cancer. Since early childhood, he has endured major surgeries, ongoing treatments, and frequent hospital stays, all while continuing to show incredible strength and a bright spirit that inspires everyone around him.
His father proudly serves on active duty in the United States Army. The emotional and financial strain has been overwhelming at times, and this community effort is focused on helping ease that burden so the family can concentrate on their son’s care, comfort, and quality of life.

Where Donations Go
All donations connected to this Swap Meet will go directly toward supporting this young boy and his family as they continue his fight against aggressive cancer.
Funds raised may help with:
• Travel to specialty hospitals and treatment centers
• Medical-related expenses not covered by insurance
• Therapies, equipment, and supportive care
• Everyday household needs during treatment periods
American Legion Riders 103 and American Legion Post 103 do not keep any of these proceeds for organizational use. This effort is entirely about supporting the family during an incredibly challenging time.

Cash donations and in-person contributions made during the Swap Meet will also be collected and directed toward supporting the family’s medical and related needs.

Non-Refundable Fees
**All spot fees, table rental fees, donations, and any other fees associated with the Event are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Yes. The American Legion Riders are a program of The American Legion, which is a recognized 501(c)(19) veterans service organization.
Donations made through the ALR 103 Swap Meet may qualify as tax-deductible charitable contributions to the extent allowed by law.
We recommend donors keep a copy of their check or donation receipt and consult a tax professional for guidance related to their individual tax situation.
