How to Subscribe and Add the Post Events to Your Calendar
The American Legion Post 103 calendar can be SUBSCRIBED to from our website and added to your personal calendar.
This allows you to see Post events alongside your own appointments.
This calendar works with iPhone, iPad, Android phones, Windows computers, and most calendar programs.

** THIS CALENDAR ONCE SUBSCRIBED AUTOMATICALLY UPDATES ON ITS OWN!

iPhone and iPad work best using Safari (Apple’s built-in browser).

This works best using Safari.

If you opened our website from Facebook or Gmail, it may not work correctly. If it doesn’t, open the page in Safari and try again.
Section 1 — Tap the Subscribe Button on Our Website

Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad.

Go to americanlegion103.org.

Navigate to the POST CALENDAR page.

TAP "LEARN MORE" AT TOP OF PAGE.

Tap the button that says "SUBSCRIBE".
Section 2 — If Apple Calendar Pops Up Automatically (Easy Case)
After you tap the button, you may see a screen asking to add/subscribe.

Tap Subscribe (or Add).

Confirm any prompts.

Tap Done.
✅ You are finished — it will update automatically.
Section 4 — If Nothing Happens When You Tap the Button
This usually means the page opened inside an app (like Facebook) or Safari didn’t open the link properly.
Option A: Open the site in Safari

Tap the Share icon (square with arrow up).

Tap Open in Safari.

Try tapping the Subscribe button again.
Option B: Use iPhone Settings (Manual Subscribe)
If you have the iCal link copied (or can copy it from the button/link):

Open Settings
-
Tap Calendar
-
Tap (!) at the bottom of the screen

Tap Add calendar
-
Tap Add Subscription Calendar

Paste the calendar link
-
Tap find
-
Tap "done" or ✅
-
✅ You are finished.
Section 5 — Confirm It Worked

OPEN CALENDAR

Subscribing means the Post 103 calendar will automatically update when we add or change events.
✅ Recommended: Use Google Calendar app (or Google Calendar in Chrome)

Open Chrome on your Android phone (recommended).

Go to americanlegion103.org
-
Navigate to the Post Calendar
-
Tap "learn More"
-
Navigate to android section
-
Tap the button that says "SUBSCRIBE"

The Post 103 calendar will open on the screen.

Look for the “+” button near the bottom of the screen.
-
Tap the + button.
-
Google Calendar will prompt you to add/subscribe.

Tap Add.
-
✅ You’re done — the calendar is now subscribed and will auto-update.

Outlook Desktop App (Windows)

Open Outlook on your PC.
-
Click the Calendar icon.
-
Click Add Calendar (top ribbon).

Choose From Internet… / Subscribe from web (wording varies).

Paste the Post calendar link.
-
Click OK / Add / Import.
-
✅ Done.
